I used old truck inner tubes to seal the little holes in the cab. I just cut out pieces of the inner tube to make patches of the size and shape that I wanted and then sprayed the patch with 3M spray on adhesive. Let it get tacky and then stuck it where I wanted it. That was two years ago and...
You will find that you start in both depending on the situation. Unloaded and ready to get home will find you leaving that red light in 2nd with no problem. It'll catch quick and jump right out if you know what you are doing. No slippage. Loaded with any kind of significant weight use 1st...
I have one of these. Works like a champ! It'll run you out of the tent if you stoke it way up and leave the vent wide open. Montana Elk hunting snow up to your knees and night time temps around 0*. Cozy tent though!

I know this is crazy but I have never looked for my fuses or breakers (I think it's breakers) on my truck. However I feel like I have been all over my truck and dont recall seeing them. What and or where should I be looking?
Thanks guys,
JR
Ummm.. Wyoming, please read this?
I found my deuce in Atlanta at Ft. Gillem. I looked at the vehicle condition code given to the trucks by the govt. and then I called the site manager and asked him what he thought about the few that I had picked out. It turns out that he felt that the one I...
The hoses and belts took about a day and a half. First day took it all apart (Grill removal, radiator removal, belts removed, hoses removed, water jackets [aluminum things on top of heads] removed and the gasket material cleaned off. Then ran down to Stuart Hose in Fort Worth to get the T-Bolt...
I agree wreckerman. I am a little nervous about that. The members on our lease all keep vehicles out there but they aren't six wheel drive army trucks. My plan it to take out the center link between the batteries and chain the steering wheel when I am not there. I can't think of much more I...
New fuel, oil and air filters last year and not much driving since. Had a full tank of fuel so just dropped in the new pump. No gunk dumpage this time. Heater hoses are in pretty good shape also easy to get to so they don't scare me as much as far as long trips and then sitting for a while...
Hunting season is just around the corner and I have decided to keep the deuce at the hunting lease this year during season. Plan to bring it home sometime in February. Since I will be driving it 150 miles away and it will need to be READY each weekend when I show up. Or at least each weekend...
My fuel pump is blowing fuses as soon as I install them. I pulled it today and plan to tinker with it this evening. Going to series a couple batteries together and see what I can get it to do. What do you guys think? Am I just wasting my time or is there any chance that I could breathe some...
One five gallon bucket of gear oil and a small hand pump will get you home. I had the same type situation when I brought mine home. I wound up paying for a 100 mile taxi ride a plane ticket and a hauler. After I got it home and had time to really look at the situation It was plain that all I...
RE: Re: RE: Compressor Pulley
Thank devilman96. Your suggestion was right on. It worked like a charm.
Thanks to everyone else as well. All great sugestions. Hopefully I wont need to do this again for some time.
I am working on changing all the belts and hoses on the Deuce and replacing all the hose clamps with T-Bolt hose clamps. That said I need to know if any of you have a better way to get the hose between these two pieces without taking off the valve covers. I have the new valve cover gaskets on...
OK good advice from all. I am normally a big believer in the right tool for the job but I am a little pressed for time on this deal. Gonna give the pipe wrench a try first and then after I screw up the pulley I'll call memphis for a new pulley and order the wrench from RDM.
Wish me luck
