    DoD approves new CARC Specs

Not sure what this means for the guy who wants to get paint from Sherwin Williams but it might trickle down to the average MV Joe in due time. Thought I would share what I found today from my new Products Finishing catalog. BEST DEFENSE: Military approves CARC powder coats : Products Finishing...

Spotted a cannon? while getting gas for my bobbed deuce

Maybe it was won on GL. Waiting for the owner to come pick it up. I bet the paperwork is signed for, just go get it.

    is this worth it??

FWIW, being a not yet being a Deuce owner. A LDS to me is not worth much for the added power. I will not be being a deuce for speed or power, but for the fun factor and occasional use of capacity. Also a 3 mpg hit is quite a bit too to have that extra "umph". I know these trucks are not...

    Daily driven deuces???

Av-gas is usually 100 LL (low lead). I think the thought with no av gas is not wanting lead in the fuel.

    Air Horns: A pair & a spare

Looks good, I am so used to seeing the K3 or 5's in the LA configuration, it is nice to see them standing proud and not tucked under a truck.

    Pictures in a thread?

Awesome, we have a next button. Now to be picky, I am on another forum like this and I often just hit N or click the right side of the picture but it opens just the image up in a new tab. I have gotten way too used to just clicking the right side of the image to advance to the next picture...

    runing deuce on inside tires

Still confused. If you remove 4 tires and cross the country, are you still going to take them to put them back on when you get to your destination. If you are towing some weight behind you you will want the weight on the towing vehicle, not the towed one.

+1 Just tell me where to send it. I love this site and if we could all help just a little voluntarily and make it any better, I am all for it.

Lincoln Mark VII Versus two deuces

Well did you rob the electric fan out of the Mark before crushing it? They sure could move a lot of air.

    They lost my truck!!!!

So other than the interesting end to his life, did you ever get to a decent conclusion to the purchase of the "missing" truck? (I hope that didn't sound as if I wished or hoped he would die, not my intent, but obviously anything further to pursue for recourse is over.)

What are the specs on the F-150 (year, tranny, 2/4wd, etc)? It may or may not be flat towable.
